'4. Norris Road'

$5,000.00

No. 4 in the Light Coming in Through Cracks Series, 2018-2021.

Un-manipulated, naturally-oxidized (rusted), used/discarded metal Found Object, on painted salvaged cotton sailcloth with cotton and synthetic wool on plywood. 24” x 24” x 2.5”.

This piece was picked up off the side of the road the name suggests. I pulled off for something. My hatchback wasn’t shut all the way. I looked down and there she was. I threw it in the wayback and the rest is history. I like the bumpy texture of the surface and the simple, organic geometry of the form. It is almost the shape of the state of Montana. Almost.
